One of my new year’s resolutions is to write more in this journal thing.
I have still been working on making new songs, but I have changed my strategy a bit. For now, I’ve stopped doing cover songs and I’ve just, instead, been doing original songs. Another thing that I’m doing is changing, once again, how I release the songs. Instead of immediately putting them up on my Bandcamp as singles, I’m trying to actually gather them up into an album/LP before I officially publish them. That way, they’ll appear to the public as a collection of songs rather than just a single. That approach makes more sense to me, personally, because releasing a song before it appears on a record basically familiarizes someone with the song before the actual album drops, and once the album itself actually finally drops, it’s just possibly at least a little bit boring.
